A friend reported that she was missing the day after she was not contacted.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office states that her disappearance is suspicious.
“There’s definitely something wrong, and I’m looking for an answer again at this point,” said Tony Botti of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
He says the investigation is active, even after a full month.
For Missy’s family-every day feels like eternity.
“I was very worried that she was somewhere and needed help,” said Missy’s sister, Daisy Hernandez.
Daisy lives in Texas, but recently came to Fresno to find her sister.
She also posted a leaflet to let people know that Missy was somewhere.
Friends and family say she was popular and made friends with everyone. So I was shocked that she disappeared without a trace.
“We want her to go home. We need an answer. I think we all deserve to know where she is and what happened,” said Daisy Hernandez.
The sheriff’s department is also looking for an answer.
“We will never give up. We will continue to look for people to get the information that gives us the answers we need, and hopefully we can move forward,” Hernandez said. rice field.
