    Britain Brown rushed to touch down the season’s best 146 yards, while Zack Charbone UCLA beat Arizona 34-16 in a Saturday night Pac-12 play in Tucson, Arizona. Added the best 117.

    Dorian Thompson-Robinson rushed to two touchdowns and added a pass score when Bruins (4-2, 2-1 Pac-12) piled up 329 yards on the ground.

    Jordan McCloud completed 21 out of 30 passes at 182 yards before leaving with a clear right knee injury to Wildcats (0-5, 0-2).

    Arizona have lost 17 games in a row since defeating Colorado 35-30 on October 5, 2019.

    Thompson-Robinson made eight out of 19 passes with 82 yards and one intercept, but Bruins beat Wildcats 411 to 362.

    Thompson-Robinson’s four-yard scoring run to the right gave UCLA a 24-16 advantage, leaving 4:06 in the third quarter.

    MacLeod was injured in a stripsack by Otitogbonia with 14:14 remaining in the third play of the fourth quarter. McCloud was seen by bystanders sports crutches and knee ice packs.

    Brown then cleared up the game in third and second play as he ran up the middle for a 48-yard scoring run to give Bruins an edge of 15 points with 7:48 remaining.

    Nicholas Barrilla added a 43-yard field goal with 1:43 remaining.

    Gunner Cruz has completed 4 out of 7 passes at 48 yards on behalf of McCloud for the Wildcats.

    Arizona made 29 appearances at UCLA in the first 50 plays, but Bruins took the lead 14-13 in the break.

    Wildcats received a 28-yard field goal from the Tyler Loop, limiting the opening drive. But Bruins replied with a touchdown. Thompson-Robinson connected to Greg Dalchić with a three-yard pass, leaving 3:48 in the first quarter.

    Arizona moved within 7-6 when long-distance kicker Lucas Haverisik scored a 46-yard field goal, leaving 14:18 in the first half. Bruins pushed the lead to eight when Thompson-Robinson won a two-yard keeper with 3:01 remaining.

    Wildcats used trick play to pull them together. McCloud threw a backward pass to Jamary Joiner to his left, and a former high school quarterback delivered a 10-yard touchdown pass to Michael Wiley with 30 seconds remaining.

    The team exchanged field goals at the first 6:42 of the third quarter. Burmilla kicked Bruins’ 23-yard field goal and Haverisik was good again from 46 in Arizona.
