Tiger suffered a very serious leg injury and needed to undergo surgery to save the limb.
Then, after that, he needed to go to rehab and he told Golf Digest that ‘This has been an entirely different animal. I understand more about the rehab process because of past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I’ve ever experienced.’
A report of the crash previously revealed that during the accident, he was ‘knocked unconscious, [suffering] laceration to the lower front jaw, bruising right and left rib cage, he fractured his right tibia and fibula, [and suffered a] possible right ankle injury.’

‘My physical therapy’s been keeping me busy. I do all my routines every day and I am focused on my goal right now: walking on my own. Taking it one step at a time,’ he went on to say during the same interview, adding that the support from his loved ones as well as from fans and fellow golfers has been ‘incredible … I’ve had so much support from people both inside and outside golf, which means so much to me and which has helped tremendously.’
On Friday, May 23, Tiger Woods was seen out in public for the first time since the scary accident.
The man was wearing a leg brace and using crutches as he returned to the gold course, posing for the camera with his pet dog, Bugs, in celebration.
