A judge last summer ruled that the murder conviction was false because the court miscalculated the two charges that Joe was convicted of.
The 22-year sentence could have been shortened to 17 years, but that didn’t happen. Rather, the Federal Court of Appeals has just shortened the 22-year sentence by a year … obviously not what Joe wanted.

Back in November, TMZ broke the news Joe was transferred From a Texas prison to a North Carolina facility … he was fighting aggressive cancer and needed more medical attention. He initially demanded that he be taken out of jail for treatment, but the decision is still unknown.
