Arlington, Texas — 18-year-old student accused In a shooting at Texas High School He was released from prison on Thursday after throwing public debt.
Police have accused Timothy George Simpkins of firing in a classroom at Timberview High School in Arlington on Wednesday. Two were shot dead and the other two were injured unspecified. He was imprisoned for three counts of exacerbated assaults with deadly weapons.
Police said the shooting took place after the battle, but Simpkins’ family said he had been bullied and robbed twice at school.
Family spokeswoman Carol Harrison Lafayette told reporters outside Simpkins’ home while standing with other relatives Wednesday night. “That wasn’t right, but he was trying to protect himself.”
According to police, the 15-year-old student who was shot was still in crisis, and the 25-year-old teacher who was shot was in good condition on Thursday.
