Antioak, TN (WSMV) – When planning this year’s holiday shopping, it’s a good idea to consider shipping deadlines so your luggage is in time for the holidays.
Experts are urging consumers across the country to pre-ship packages to ensure they arrive in time. But they say it’s due to a shortage of supply chains due to a pandemic.
On Saturday afternoon, customers went in and out of Antioch’s Postal Annex to send and receive Christmas gifts.
“The post office procession is weird! They’re too long and this place will be open later,” said Ashley Hillicker, a customer of Postal Annex.
Others say they plan to buy their gifts and send them immediately.
“Go home, get on your PC and start ordering to make sure it arrives in time,” says John Haury.
For ground services, FedEx, UPS, and USPS will be shipped by December 25th.
It’s a busy season for places like the post office, postal services, and the U Hall Center in Antioch. Owners encourage people to ship items a few days before the shipping deadline to ensure arrival.
“The main deadline is 15 days, but it’s the estimated delivery date before Christmas. So I say it before 15 days, so there’s no problem. Know if something is late or something like that. I am. ”
