The new TLC series continues when Shauna looks like a child but is trying to navigate the normal adult life. Shauna was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumor at the age of 6 months. Her treatment allowed remission, but had one major side effect-she stopped growing. Chemotherapy put her pituitary gland almost dormant, Shauna looked like a child, was only 3 feet 10 inches tall, and was an average size of 8 years. Now Shauna is 22 years old.
