Sony will reportedly launch a new subscription gaming service for that purpose. PlayStation console It will compete with Microsoft Xbox game pass.. The new service reportedly integrates Sony’s existing subscriptions. PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now.. According to Bloomberg, Sony will maintain the PlayStation Plus brand, but will phase out PlayStation Now.

The new service is reportedly expected to be available on PS5 and PS4. According to Bloomberg, Sony will offer three layers of new services, but the cost of each layer is unknown. Both PS Plus and PS Now are currently $ 10 per month or $ 60 per year.

The first tier allegedly contains the existing benefits of PS Plus, while the second tier provides a larger catalog of PS4 and PS5 games. According to Bloomberg, Tier 3 will add an “extended demo, game streaming, classic PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP game library”.

The PlayStation did not immediately respond to the request for comment.
