Pernod Ricard resumes share buyback with first tranche up to € 250 million

Pernod Ricard SA said Thursday that it has resumed its share buyback program by launching its first tranche to acquire shares for up to € 250 million ($ 295.4 million).

“The purchase period begins on September 16, 2021 and ends on November 16, 2021,” said a French beverage maker.

The company said it plans to buy back about € 500 million in shares in its first program launched in 2019.

The company said Pernow plans to repurchase its shares for up to € 270 per share, as agreed in a resolution of the shareholders’ meeting in November 2020.
