Georgetown, South Carolina (WBTW) — The 30th Paulies Island Music Arts Festival, canceled in 2020 due to a pandemic, is back with some live performances scheduled for October.
“We’re back, and we’re stronger than ever,” said festival director Delores Brandt.
The concert at the Reserve Club on Paulie’s Island begins on Friday with a performance by the Orlando Transit Authority, followed by a performance by Miracles at 7 pm on Saturday.
“We are delighted to welcome these artists to the 30th Anniversary Ceremony,” said Blount. “Many of these performers, who were due to appear last year, have rescheduled to be with us in 2021. Our audience is really hospitable.”
According to Brant, the number of tickets sold at each performance will be limited to ensure the safety of attendees.
“Our goal is to provide adequate parking and the best seats for everyone to enjoy the show,” she said. “We encourage our patrons to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment. Tickets for this year’s performance are progressing rapidly and our table event will sell out soon. ”
The remaining groups scheduled to perform at this year’s festival are:
- October 13-Laos Tizer featuring Eric Marienthal
- October-Black Market Trust
- October 15-Atlanta Rhythm Section
- October 21-Texas Teners
- October 22 – Best of Eagles
- October 23 – Destination Motown featuring Soul Cruiser (table event)
