Panama City, FL – Mosley to compete at 7v7 state championships


Panama City, FL –

LYNN HAVEN, Florida. (WMBB) –The Mosley Football Team is scheduled to compete in the FHSAA 7v7 State Championships in The Villages, Fla. this weekend.

The Dolphins will face more than 50 teams from across the state in the annual tournament that began in 2015.

Mosley head football coach Tommy Joe Whiddon says the 7v7 tournament is the most competitive high school football in the summer.

“We have five pool games,” Whiddon said. “So we are going to go, the game of pool starts at 2:00 p.m. (Friday) afternoon so, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During this time we will play four games, then we will wake up on Saturday morning and play our fifth game pool, then after those five games they’ll put you in the tournament, then it’s knockout, so you play as long as you win and you keep playing until there’s one team left.
