Panama City, FL – Man arrested after hit-and-run near Butler Elementary

Panama City, FL –

WALTON COUNTY, Florida (WMBB– A Walton County man was arrested after a hit and run near an elementary school on Wednesday morning.

MPs responded to a call about a suspect pulling another vehicle into the back on Highway 98 at around 7 a.m.

The suspect allegedly fled on a road near Butler Elementary School in Santa Rosa Beach.

School Resource Assistant McIntosh, also known as Officer Pineapple by elementary school students, stopped the car and then the suspect allegedly ran into the nearby woods.

Deputy McIntosh pursued and arrested the suspect. He was taken to Walton County Jail.
