PANAMA CITY BEACH, Florida (WMBB– A Panama City teenager faces charges after he allegedly conspired with another teenager to launch a bomb threat at Arnold High School, Bay County Sheriff investigators wrote in a press release.
The students were evacuated Monday afternoon during the “threat” at school.
Alex E. Solorio, 14, was charged with making a false bomb threat for the threat that occurred to Arnold and he was charged with making a false bomb threat for the incident which occurred in Pennsylvania.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office and the North Strabane Township Police Department in Canonsburg, Pa., Worked together on the case.
On Monday, contact was made with Solorio and they determined that he had called a threat at Canon McMillan High School in Pennsylvania. In return, a student agreed to threaten Arnold, investigators wrote.
Further charges are expected in these two incidents.
