Panama City, FL –
CITY OF PANAMA, FLA. (WMBB) – Friday night’s game between Bay and Mosley High School at Tommy Oliver Stadium was different from previous games at the stadium this year.
Students at Bay and Mosley High School could enter the stadium if they had their ID. For younger students, Bay District schools require that they be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Friday, Bay District Schools said a “disturbing comment” was reported to the district, leading to an increase in law enforcement during Friday’s game. The school system said it saw problems in the stadium parking lot, involving students who had not attended school in previous matches.
The police prevented people from loitering in the parking lot. There was also no re-entry for people who left the game earlier.
Although schools in the Bay District did not comment, they said they hoped the comment was a joke.
