A Listeria The outbreak that resulted in 22 hospitalizations and 1 death is associated with an ice cream brand called Big Olaf Creamery. Announced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (Opens in a new tab) July 2nd.

BigOlaf Creamery, based in Sarasota, Florida, has voluntarily contacted stores to “not recommend selling ice cream products,” the CDC said. These products are only sold in Florida. “Consumers who have Big Olaf Creamery branded ice cream at home should throw away all the remaining products,” the CDC advised.
