Murfreesboro, Tennessee (WKRN) — A 26-year-old man was charged this week with shooting his ex-girlfriend at his home in Murfreesboro.
Murfreesboro police reported that a shooting took place at the Duplex on the Old Las Casas Highway around 7 pm on Tuesday.
According to Murfreesboro police, police officers found an unresponsive woman at home and were later identified as 37-year-old Shanagibson.
A detective in the criminal investigation department of the Murfreesboro police station charged Myron Jenkins with first-class murder for Gibson’s death. He was booked at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center with a $ 500,000 bond.
Investigators are still working to determine motivation.
