A video shot by Police Officer Pratt’s police car drive recorder shows an attempt to shoot a rogue cow from a highway near the town of Susanville, Lassen County, California.

A police officer working on a California highway patrol was charged by an angry cow he was trying to drive off the road.
The cow runs and tries to attack the man, but he is clearly unharmed and running away.
After a lucky escape, Police Officer Pratt is seen returning to the police car and sighing in relief.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Susanville said: Our executive Pratt has captured one of the many dangers we face on a daily basis here in the northeastern California countryside.

After escaping, Pratt made eye contact with the dashcam and sighed with great relief.
“Susanville CHP is outside the fenced area and regularly handles large animal calls that threaten the masses of our cars by stepping on the freeway.
“We decided that this meat locomotive was good enough to tell us what to do. Fortunately, Pratt officer escaped relatively unscathed!”
Police added: “Remember to always buckle, don’t drink or drive, and call CHP to handle the nasty cows outside the fence.”
Earlier this year, a fugitive cow was caught by a camera-threatening patient in a waiting room in a Colombian hospital.
