Matthew McConaughey He says he’s still not sure if he’ll run for Governor of Texas-given how little foot work he’s done so far, it’s a strong suggestion that it’s not on his card.
The actor conducted an extensive interview with The New York Times Kara Swisher For her recent episode’Shake‘Podcast … And it’s pretty amazing how Matt knows little about the current issue and how reluctant he seems to commit to one or the other side of the aisle … Or it may even express a clear and definitive view of what he thinks right or wrong.
One of the things he clarified was the seriousness in Lone Star after a constant (and highly necessary) follow-up question from Swisher about where Swisher landed / what’s to come. It means that they are terribly unprepared for the implementation of a good government. .. because he is currently only in the consulting stage.
Matt says he hasn’t yet started to set up a committee, conduct polls, or do much else with the launch and implementation of legitimate campaigns. Apparently, he’s still only talking about the idea of running to certain people … and the election is just a year away.
The MMC also states this about the proposal … “Who will I be? No, who will I be? Where will I be most useful? Is politics the most useful embassy for me?” To myself, my family, and the most people in my life in the future? “” I could definitely have more influence as an informal leader than an official leader? ” “He added.
He also called the current American political system (two parties, which appear to have extreme views on both sides) “broken” … he was, above all, a middle-aged politician. That meant, in the philosopher’s way he said he continued to “measure” what the road would be, best for him.
It’s no one’s guess that the measurement is accurate … but Matt says he’s “studying” the problem. Speaking of issues, after constantly badged (and explained the issue) from Swisher, he actually focused on some specific issues. About Maskman Date on TX … For the protection of voters’ rights … About the abortion bill … Opposition.
You can listen to the entire podcast and hear how he explains each rationale. Some of the instructions are a bit weird and difficult to unpack. But based on his answer, McConaughey seems to be leaning towards the centre-left … above all.
At some point Swisher asks what he made Beto O’Rourke Matt said it was a mystery and did not clarify much of his position-something he thinks is essential to being a true competitor in modern US politics. Swisher said he perceives it as “shade.”
Matt, who thought Beto was a good man and said he had his heart in the right place, wasn’t. Still … many believe that MMC needs to make some sort of decision. Because the longer the waffle, the more confused the Texas people are about who their choices are, as Polling shows … McConaughey is the odds.undertake Greg Abbott..
