Los Angeles County eases COVID-19 indoor mask mandate

Date:

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Los Angeles County is starting to allow people to take off their masks indoors if they are locked up as light as an omicron winter mask.

California’s largest county said it would suspend its health order on Friday to allow the opening of restaurants, bars and other businesses for people showing evidence of illness. .

Unregistered customers should continue to wear the masks in -house.

The move comes at a time when COVID-19 patients and hospitals are declining.

The county left behind the state as a whole, which raised its internal mask order for those detained last week.

Most of California’s 58 counties immediately followed. However, Santa Clara County still requires indoor coverage.
