Lamar Odom says he still feels the presence of his late friend and former teammate, Kobe Bryant … narrative TMZ Sports“He comes to me in my dreams.”
Odom, wearing the incredible Kobe and Gigi tribute pendant she received as a gift earlier this year on the anniversary of the duo’s tragic death, told us this week at LAX that it actually happens “a lot.”
“[He’s] you just talk to me all the time,” Odom said of the dreams. “‘Hold on. Keep fighting.’ A lot of shit.”
LO – who played with Kobe from 2004-2011 and remained good friends with him in retirement – tells us that his dreams with the Mamba usually involve shooting, sometimes even real games.
“His spirit, it’s so strong,” said Odom, who also has a Kobe tattoo on his neck. “For me, he’s not too far away. Especially when you dream about something and he talks to you in that dream, you’ll definitely remember it.”
Lamar says Kobe still inspires him to this day … adding that the NBA legend is a big reason why he loves flying to the City of Angels.
“It’s crazy,” Odom said. “That’s why I love coming back to LA too. I know him.”
