Rocky Mount, NC (WNCN) – On Saturday morning, crew members from multiple counties fought a major fire at the QVC Distribution Center in QVC Boulevard, off Rocky Mount Highway 64.
Authorities have not released much information at this point, nor have they stated if they were injured.
According to social media coverage as a whole, most of the buildings are involved and flames can be seen from a distance.
Up to 2,500 families will be affected by the fire, according to a Facebook post from the Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce.
QVC has issued the following statement:
“A fire broke out at the location of QVC Rocky Mount in North Carolina on Saturday, December 18th. At this time, we are focusing on the safety and well-being of our team members. In addition, we understand the full impact on our products and orders. We are also working to provide details to our customers as they become available. We are working with local governments to investigate the cause of this issue and provide additional updates as needed. To do.”
