Honolulu (KHON2) – The center of the high pressure north of the island drifts east as a cold front flows into the Central Pacific Basin and weakens the northern ridges of the island.
Due to the relatively weak northern ridges of the state, the refreshing trade winds will ease slightly from moderate to refreshing until Friday.
Tonight’s trade winds volatile shower belt will increase shower activity on all islands that prefer upwind and mountainous areas.
Trade-style showers continue throughout the week, with high coverage from night to early morning.
