((((WWTI) —Various gummy candies that were distributed throughout the country were recalled due to the possible presence of very thin metal strands that could be embedded in the gummy or loosened in the bag.
Mars Wrigley Confectionery US LLC has announced the voluntary recovery of certain types of skittles gummy, starburst gummy and life saver gummy. The recall was issued after the company received a report from the consumer informing them of the potential danger. No product-related illnesses have been reported.
The same gummies were distributed in Canada and Mexico, according to a recall alert posted by US Food and Drug Administration.
