Florida judge sends Trump suit against Twitter to California

NS. Petersburg, Florida (AP) —Federal Judge Donald Trump Must File a Lawsuit Against Twitter in California, Not Florida, Under a User Agreement for Everyone on Social Media Platforms I arbitrated.

Miami’s US District Judge Robert Scola rejected Trump’s allegation that California court requirements did not apply to him because his Twitter account was suspended while he was president.

This requirement came into effect when Trump first joined Twitter as a private sector in 2009.

In his order issued Wednesday, Scola wrote that the California Forum Election Clause was valid. Twitter banned Trump’s account on January 8, two days after his supporters attacked the US Capitol.
