Kelheim Fibers, a German specialty viscose fiber manufacturer, received a gold medal in its CSR evaluation from EcoVadis and ranked in the top 3% of all evaluated companies. This rating was well above average in environmental, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable sourcing, but achieved an absolute top score, especially in the environmental arena.

“We create special plant-based fibers that enable a healthy lifestyle while protecting the environment for future generations,” he said. Craig Barker, CEO of Kelheim Fibers.. “Environmentally friendly production and our overall environmental, social and ethical performance are measures of how seriously we take our aspirations.”

“We don’t want to rely on gold medals. As always, when faced with a rating like EcoVadis, we welcome suggestions for improvement. Constant improvement is a central element of our future strategy.” Barker continues.
