    Clint Arlis, Former Bachelorette Suitor, Dead at 34

    The bachelor’s state is in mourning.

    This week, I learned that Clint Arlis, a bachelor alum who participated in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s hit reality show season, has died.

    He was 34 years old.

    The shocking death of a building engineer was announced on Twitter Thursday by Scott Bayer, a high school wrestling coach in Batavia, Illinois … he shared some memories of his time with Arlis on team. In the process, I touched on his professional wrestling career.

    “Announcement of the death of Clint Alice, one of the greatest 2005 graduates of the Batavia Wrestling Program, is deeply lost,” Bayer wrote.

    “Clint is Tom Alice and his wife Jamie’s beloved son, sister Taylor’s protective and affectionate brother, boyhood idol, and his brother Logan Alice’s best friend. did.”

    Bayer has listed Clint’s many achievements over the years in his desire to guide young people from the victory of wrestling.

    “After Tom’s graduation, I’ve known Clint for years since I joined Tom’s coach staff and the Batavia Wrestling Family in late fall 2005.

    “I found him very devoted to his family and deeply committed to the sport. [of] Wrestling at the level you’ve reached so far in our career.

    “While pursuing a career in architecture, he has always prioritized returning to our (his) wrestling room and generously giving back to our children.

    “He was a talented artist with a keen wisdom, an enthusiastic sense of humor, and a clear credibility.”

    Clint Arlis competed for Bristowe’s love in Season 11 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2015.

    He and JJ Lane caused some controversy over the friendship of the time and were called villains. Arlis was eliminated in the third week.

    The IIlinois native apologized for the Men Tell All Special, claiming that he and Lane’s evil gag was a “tongue.” [in] cheek. “

    He also revealed during the reunion that he was a “straight man” after the program described his relationship with fellow athletes as a fast-growing romance.

    For years after Season 11 aired, Clint seemed unobtrusive and deleted his social media account.

    Meanwhile, Bayer concludes his Twitter thread with a message to Clint’s family.

    “Fierce competitors, tireless workers, compassionate influence on young Batavia wrestlers, devoted friends, and his legacy as a loving son and brother far beyond his time in front of us. Resonates beyond.

    “On behalf of all of us in the Batavia Wrestling Family, we would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Arlis Family during this period. [of] Unimaginable broken heart and sadness.

    The cause of death has not been announced at this time.
