Raleigh, NC (WNCN) – Raleigh police issued a serious flood warning on Saturday morning that roads were inoperable and vehicles were submerged.
At the intersection of Westgate and Fast Park, the police doctor showed two cars in the flood water and a fallen tree all over the road.
At least one ambulance was called to the scene in the photo scene from Raleigh police, but the extent of assistance needed is unknown at this time.
Finally, officials reported that the 1806 Wake Forest Road, just south of East Whitaker Mill Road, was closed both north and south due to power line downs. Police expect it to be closed for hours, a tweet from the department said.
CBS 17 will update this article as more information becomes available.
