Las Vegas (KTNV) —According to an Instagram post by wife Cindy Blackman Santana and a statement from his team, Carlos Santana is reported to be feeling better after falling at a concert in Michigan.
“Hello everyone! Carlos and I really appreciate your prayers, love, care and interest in him! Know he’s resting and doing very well!” Blackman said. ..
Blackman went on to explain the cause of Santana’s collapse and repeated the same conclusions as the statement from his team. Santana was diagnosed with heat exhaustion and dehydration because she was 100 degrees on stage and 114 degrees under the light.
“That caused problems in combination with enough water. He will soon be as good as new! Thank you again, and we love you!” Blackman said in an Instagram post.
Sister station Fox 17 reported that Santana was playing for about 40 minutes when she fell. The concert audience was then told that the rest of the show was cancelled.
