A new report from Hot New Hip Hop today said that Barack Obama recently came out to reveal what his favorite TV shows are. During a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, the former president of the United States of America revealed that there were a few shows he turned to whenever he wanted to take a break from writing his memoir, A Promised Land.

According to the former politician, Better Call Saul is easily one of his favorites and mostly because of its characters. Moreover, he says the series did a good job of examining the underbelly of the American dream and what it often forces people to do.

Additionally, Barack went on to say that he liked watching the NBA playoffs, Watchmen, and The Boys. In response to the interview, Antony Starr who plays “Homelander” in The Boys said that if the show was good enough for the former president of the United States, then it should be sufficient for everyone else as well.

Regarding what Obama listens to in his spare time, Obama claimed he wasn’t actually the type to listen to music while writing because he finds himself humming along to the song and then losing his train of thought.

In case you didn’t know, the first part of A Promised Land came out earlier this year. The next portion of the book will be released sometime in the future. As most know, Barack has continued to be a public figure even after he stepped out of the White House.

The former president was in the headlines again earlier this year regarding the Black Lives Matter movement, including the NBA’s reaction to it.
