Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV)-The annual Rock’n’Roll Marathon is back on the streets of downtown Nashville on Saturday morning.
More than 1,600 racers participated in this year’s event. The running series included marathons, half marathons, 5k and 615 races.
In addition, the running series has partnered with St. Jude. They worked with Ryan Kinder and Kidner’s Kids to give toys to children affected by the Waverly Flood.
“It’s great. It was one of the best runs I’ve ever been to,” said one runner. “The weather was a bit cold, but it was a great and big cause. I’m really honored to be here and help the cause.”
A local father planning to attend the Rock’n’Roll Marathon on Saturday is incorporating and implementing spontaneous ideas.
