    Reportedly, the tsunami caused by the explosive eruption of Tonga volcano in the Pacific struck the Pacific coastline on Saturday (January 15), rushing residents to higher ground.

    A four-foot (1.2-meter) high tsunami reportedly struck Nuku’alofa, the capital of Tonga, about 40 miles (65 kilometers) south of the submarine volcano.
