    Omaha, Nebraska 2021-09-04 06:59:35 –

Soldiers confirmed that a road collapse in Mississippi killed two people and injured up to ten. The east and west lanes collapsed. Carlo Bartson of the Mississippi Highway Patrol said the collapse was about 50-60 feet long and 20-30 feet deep. Seven vehicles were involved in this incident. “Some of these vehicles are stacked on top of each other,” Robertson said. CNN reports that three of the injured are in serious condition. “I haven’t seen anything in such a law enforcement agency for 23 years,” he said. Robertson believes the heavy rains may have caused the roadway to collapse, adding that the driver may not have seen the roadway in front of him impassable.
